Bible research — overview

The Research tab (fourth bottom bar button, label Research) is the Bible search hub: read a passage, search a word, or explore a theme. It is not where you find your notes or journal — use Library for that.

References, keywords, or themes. Your personal notes stay in the Library tab.

This guide sets the foundation before detailed pages (reference, keyword, themes, reuse in notes/journal).

Library overview · Bible references (notes) · Offline

Published Library notes: New version… then add verses from editor or search on the draft.

  1. Research → type Romans 8:28Search.
  2. Open passage → read context.
  3. Add to a note → sermon draft → Verse placementNote level or a section.
  4. Verse added → continue writing in Create.

Where are my notes when I search “hope”?
In Library (your content search), not Research (Bible text).

Several translations?
Version label comes from account/API settings; Scripvio shows the server-returned name.

History cleared?
Server/account managed; the app shows API entries (~25 recent chips on screen).

Research vs Tracking “Reading”?
Research reads Scripture; Tracking — Reading logs what you read. You can use both.
