Sections and parts
Sections split a long note (service, study, teaching) into readable parts: intro, worship, sermon, application, etc. Each section has a title, rich content, an optional summary, and its own Bible references.
This guide covers editing (draft) and read mode (published note).
→ Create a note · Bible references
Why use sections?
Section titled “Why use sections?”| Without sections | With sections |
|---|---|
| One hard-to-scan text block | Clear thematic or numbered parts |
| Global summary only | Global summary + per-part summaries |
| Verses “in one pile” at note level | Verses per section (e.g. sermon text vs application) |
The note’s global summary (bottom of the editor) still synthesizes the whole sermon; section summaries help quick rereading part by part.

Section titled “Where is the Sections block?”- Open a note in edit (Note screen — draft in Create, or draft from new version).
- Scroll in the main card below Speaker / Location:

Yes. The app shows Untitled section; add a title to stay oriented in long notes.
Global vs section summary?
Global covers the whole note (editor bottom). Section summary is one part only — great for collapsed read preview.
Can I paste the whole sermon without sections?
Yes. Sections are recommended for long notes, not mandatory.
Reorder does not stick.
Wait for sync; avoid force-quitting right after dragging while offline.
