Create an account
Your Scripvio account ties your notes, journal, library, and tracking to you alone. It also enables sync across phones and tablets when you are online.
This guide walks through sign-up in the Scripvio mobile app (Android or iOS), screen by screen.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”| Requirement | Why |
|---|---|
| Scripvio installed | Sign-up happens only in the app |
| A valid email address | Sign-in ID and password recovery |
| Access to that inbox | To open the verification link sent after sign-up |
| Internet (recommended) | To create the account and receive emails; daily use can then work offline |
Open the sign-up screen
Section titled “Open the sign-up screen”- Open Scripvio on your device.
- If you are not signed in, the Sign in screen appears (headings such as “Welcome” / “back.”).
- At the bottom of the form, tap Create an account.
You reach Sign up (“Create your” / “account.”) with the subtitle: Create your account to start your practice.
Already registered? Tap Sign in at the bottom to return to sign-in.
Fill in the form
Section titled “Fill in the form”The labels below match what you see in the app.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| First name | Your first name (e.g. Marie) |
| Last name | Your last name (e.g. Martin) |
| Email address | Your email (e.g. name@example.com) |
| Password | At least 8 characters (hint shown under the email field) |
| Confirm password | The same value as the password |
Each password field has an eye icon to show or hide what you type.
Submit
Section titled “Submit”- Make sure every field is filled in.
- Tap Create an account (main button with icon).
If everything is valid, Scripvio signs you in right away: you get the five bottom tabs (Home, Library, Create, Search, Tracking).
Common error messages
Section titled “Common error messages”The app shows a banner or message when something goes wrong:
| Situation | Message (or similar) | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Empty field | Please fill in all fields. | Complete first name, last name, email, and both passwords |
| Password too short | Password must be at least 8 characters. | Use a longer password |
| Passwords differ | Passwords do not match. | Enter the same password twice |
| Email already in use | Server message | Use Sign in or another email |
| Network issue | Generic failure message | Check Wi‑Fi or mobile data, then try again |
Account language at sign-up
Section titled “Account language at sign-up”Scripvio stores your device’s interface language when you register (French, English, etc.). Menus and system messages follow that language.
You can change it later under Profile → Settings:
Welcome and verification emails
Section titled “Welcome and verification emails”After a successful sign-up:
- You may receive a welcome email.
- A verification email with a link is also sent if your address is not confirmed yet.
What to do: open that email on the device where you read mail, tap the verification link, then return to Scripvio.
In the app, open your profile (avatar at the top of Home):
| What you see | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Email verified badge | Your address is confirmed |
| Email not verified + Send verification link | The link has not been used yet — you can resend from your profile |
Verification secures your account; the app is usually usable before you verify, but we recommend confirming your email as soon as you can.
After your account is created
Section titled “After your account is created”What changes immediately
Section titled “What changes immediately”- You are signed in: you stay in the app until you sign out.
- Home becomes your dashboard (verse of the day, quick actions, today’s tracking).
- You can create drafts (notes, journal) even offline; sync sends changes when you are back online.
Good next steps
Section titled “Good next steps”| Action | Why |
|---|---|
| Explore Home | Learn shortcuts and where to resume work |
| Try a draft note, then publish | See the difference between drafts and the library |
| Verify your email | Secure the account and simplify password reset |
Same account on multiple devices
Section titled “Same account on multiple devices”You can use the same account (same email and password) on more than one phone or tablet:
- Install Scripvio on the second device.
- Tap Sign in (not “Create an account”).
- Enter the same credentials.
Published, synced content appears after sign-in and sync. Drafts that have not synced yet stay on the device where you created them until upload succeeds.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Do I need an account to try Scripvio?
Yes, to save and sync your content. Without an account you remain on the sign-in / sign-up screens.
Can I sign up without Internet?
No — account creation and emails require a connection. Much of daily use works offline afterward.
Are my first and last name public?
They personalize your in-app profile. Scripvio is not a social network: your notes and journal stay private to your account.
I signed up with the wrong email by mistake.
Sign out, create a new account with the correct address, or contact support if you need the old account closed.
Where do I change my password later?
From Profile (avatar) → account / security section.
