How do I reset my password?
  1. Sign-in screen → Forgot password?
  2. Enter account email.
  3. Open the link received (check spam).
  4. Set a new password (8 characters minimum).

While signed in: Avatar → Profile → Edit profile → Change password.

The app stays stuck on the sign-in screen
  1. Force-quit Scripvio and reopen;
  2. Check network;
  3. Try signing in again;
  4. Last resort: reinstallserver data returns after sign-in (not unsynced local cache).

Profile

Can I sign up or sign in offline?

No. Registration and first sign-in need the Scripvio server.

After signing in once, daily work can continue offline (notes, journal, tracking).

How do I open my profile?

Tap your avatar (home corner or bar depending on context) → Profile.

Typical cards: Edit profile, Language, Notifications, Appearance.

How do I change my email address?

Short answer: the app does not always offer self-service email change.

Check Edit profile. If missing, contact support with old and desired new address.

Why can’t I edit my profile offline?

Message: Offline — profile edits are disabled.

Name, photo, account language, and password need the server. Notes and journal still work offline.

Can I use Scripvio on several devices?

Yes with the same account. After sync, published notes, journal, and tracking align on the server.

What happens if I sign out while offline?

Scripvio warns: You are offline — local data (including unsynced notes) may be removed from the device.

With a non-empty queue: You have changes… not synced yet…

What are the password rules?

8 characters minimum (sign-up, reset, change while signed in). Both “new password” fields must match.

How do I change my profile photo?
  1. Avatar (top) → Profile.
  2. Tap the photo or Change photo.
  3. Choose from the gallery or camera (permissions may be requested once).

Requires connection to upload to the server.

How do I switch light, dark, or automatic theme?

Avatar → Settings → Appearance (or Language and appearance):

Updates come from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android):

  1. Open the store app.
  2. Search Scripvio or open My apps.
  3. Tap Update if available.
